Capital Area REALTORS® FCU (CARFCU) prides itself on being the credit union built for REALTORS®, by REALTORS®, and is well-known for its friendly service and creative financial products.
At the height of the pandemic, CARFCU wanted to facilitate Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loans to assist members who were struggling financially. To support this initiative, CARFCU needed marketing assistance and a dynamic update to its outdated website. Finovo was tasked with orchestrating a complete brand overhaul, developing a new website, and implementing an outreach campaign targeting REALTORS® across the United States—all actions items were to be completed within 3 weeks.
Through a creative partnership with the CARFCU team, Finovo first established both a new brand identity and visual identity for the credit union. The brand identity reflected the institution’s 50-year legacy, while its new visual identity established a polished and modern look designed to evoke trust. This new visual identity became the cornerstone of the website’s creative process.
Apart from updating the look and feel, the website also needed to provide an intuitive experience for both members and employees. With this in mind, Finovo ensured that visitors would be able to find accurate, up-to-date information on the new website in two clicks or less. On the internal side, because rates and other information change daily, it was critical to build a website that the CARFCU team could update regularly and with ease. For this, Finovo laid out infrastructure that allows the CARFCU team to update the entire site with just one edit.
Once website development was completed, Finovo implemented a plan to target REALTORS® across America with an email marketing campaign aimed at helping them qualify for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loans. The campaign was met with instant success. CARFCU issued over 450 loans totaling more than $10 million, and helped provide REALTORS® with much-needed financial support during the pandemic.
